Food creation success!

Cooked up a storm this week.  I think I’m getting the hang of this =).  Thanksgiving this year is going to be BEAUTIFUL.

Sauteed scallops with butter, white wine, lemon juice and leeks

Apple cake

Avocado and tomato bruschetta

Warm millet and broccoli (with sesame couscous in place of millet)

Phyllo-wrapped brie with fig jam

    • Photo credit done! Her version is just gorgeous. By the way, brandy in lieu of rum is a score – I couldn’t find it in the house so I found a dusty bottle of brandy my parents have been hoarding for the past decade probably. It really brings out the flavor of the apples, and the cake is incredibly easy to make.

      I’ll make again, just for you Mel =)
