1) Looking at the flowers with mom on the first real day of spring. My dad looks out the window at us and shouts “hello!” She says she talks to them sometimes. She ties red thread around one of the red tulips so that she’ll remember later what color it was.
2) Wesleyan in spring. Watching a dance film video at work reminded me of watching films for classes in Fisk computer lab. Times when our only jobs were to be curious, and the answer seemed readily available if you knew where to look.
